White-label design for print shops

Menu, flyer and brochure design for print shops

A restaurant wants its menu redone before Friday. A gym wants a thousand flyers for a launch. A clinic wants a tri-fold that explains three services without looking like a pharmacy leaflet. These are good jobs for a print shop, but only if someone can design them. Send them to us.

What you send us

The customer’s content in any form: last year’s menu, a spreadsheet of prices, a photo of a chalkboard, a page of notes. Add the format and fold, the stock and the deadline. We’ll ask if something is missing rather than guess.

What comes back

  • Folded layouts built to the fold: bi-fold, tri-fold (roll or letter), z-fold and gatefold, with the tuck-in panel made slightly narrower so it closes flat
  • Fold and crop marks outside the trim, bleed on every edge
  • Long price lists set so they can actually be read across a counter
  • Bilingual layouts, including right-to-left scripts
  • Food and product photos converted and corrected for CMYK, so they don’t print dull
  • Multi-page booklets and calendars with page counts in multiples of four, ready for your saddle-stitch or wire-binding setup
  • A slim takeaway or flyer version of the same design when the customer needs one

Why menus go wrong, and how we stop it

A menu has more text per square inch than almost anything else a shop prints, and it changes every season. We build menus so prices and dishes can be updated without rebuilding the layout, keep text away from folds, and check the smallest type at actual size. Photos are colour-corrected for print, so a dish that looks good on a phone still looks good on 100 lb gloss.

Questions

Can you design a menu from a photo of the old one?
Yes. A phone photo of the current menu plus any price changes is enough. We retype the content, rebuild the layout and send it back print-ready.
Do you handle booklets and calendars?
Yes. Multi-page pieces are built in page counts that suit your binding, with consistent margins and a clean inside gutter.
How long does a full menu take?
A standard menu or flyer comes back within 24 hours on average. A large multi-panel or bilingual menu can take longer, and we tell you the timing the moment you send it.
