Case study · Packaging
Beautie Inc carton
A carton for a lip gloss, barely two centimetres deep, still carrying a brand, a product claim, three ingredient icons, full directions, an INCI list, a distributor address and a barcode.

Artwork laid onto the tuck-end dieline with every fold, dust flap and glue flap accounted for, so nothing important sits on a crease.

What we did
- Laid the artwork onto the tuck-end dieline with every fold, dust flap and glue flap accounted for
- Set the full ingredient list on a 20 mm panel, where the line length is narrower than most words
- Protected the barcode’s quiet zone on a narrow panel, so it scans at the till instead of getting a sticker slapped over it
- Ran the wordmark vertically up the tall front panel, using the only dimension the box actually has
- Split the palette so the product descriptor and the brand read separately at shelf distance
- Placed the regulatory and distributor copy where it is legible without competing with the front face
The other end of the scale from the canopy. Three metres of festival tent and a twenty-millimetre panel, set with the same care.
